Easy Potato Waffles
1 onion, chopped
2 cups mashed potatoes
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook onion and garlic until tender, about 4 to 6 minutes.
- Place in a bowl then add mashed potatoes, all-purpose flour, butter, salt and ground black pepper. Mix until ingredients are well-blended.
- Scoop 1/4 or 1/2 of the mixture into a pre-heated waffle iron (depending on its size) and close the lid.
- Wait 2 to 3 minutes or until waffle is golden brown.
